How can I check my credit score?
There are many credit reference agencies, the main three used by lenders are often Experian, Equifax and TransUnion. You can obtain all three credit reports directly from each provider, or altogether from Checkmyfile.
How long does information stay on my credit file?
Information about missed payments, defaults or court judgments will stay on your credit file for six years.
Do payday loans count as adverse credit?
If you have recently used payday loans lenders can consider your applciation, however this is subject to credit score, lender policy and account conduct.
